UG LEGON: MANAGEMENT APPROVES DATE FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

Upon the gradual lifting of the ban on the social gathering including schools by the President of Ghana to help cope with the spread of the viral disease, final year University students were allowed to return to their various campuses to complete their project. 

The University of Ghana, which is one of the leading Universities in Ghana has finally come up with its proposed date to start the new academic year for 2020/2021. The University of Ghana management has approved the proposed reopening date for the new academic year through a release on Friday, September 11, 2020.

In the release, through the Academic Board of the University of Ghana, the first semester begins on November 2, 2020, for students in level 200 and 400 whiles February 1, 2021, is scheduled for students in level 300 and freshers (Level 100).

The proposed reopening date is however subjected to further Presidential directives on reopening of tertiary institutions.
